Some were expected

Yes. I couldn’t deny that i’m one of Faizal Tahir’s fans, Superman ‘wannabe’ Malaysia. I’m not that kind of fanatic fan. Yet Faizal is not a perfect person for sure, a few thing about him is still unacceptable, including for me. However, i take the positive thing from his spirit and egoism as a rock singer. That’s why i refused to do anything else than watching Anugerah Juara Lagu last night. But i’m not the type  of person who is willing to go to Stadium Putra just to watch their idol from  a very far sit. That’s to much for me.

FT performance for the song ‘Sampai Syurga’ is outstanding and entertaining, that’s what i feel. Even though some friends of mine is very hard to agree with it, I’m expecting he’ll get the award for the best performance and yes he is. Best vocal award is just the same. It also in my target. Compare to Ziana Zain, his vocal seems to be more consistent at every level of pitch. Faizal’s vocal is just fantastic. The real rock singer, indeed.

For another two category, it just not in my target.

Farawahida’s performance is just some ordinary performance that we can watch in Chinese culture and the song, i dont thing it could beat another two songs from Aiman and duet by Zahid with Heliza, but i was totally wrong. However,  what about Meet Uncle Hussein which has been called as My Chemical Romance Malaysia version (a called by their fanatics, may be)? Oh, their song is wonderful but do they really qualified to get both award? It just very hard for me to say yes.
